The photo-catalytic device generates the photo-catalysis phenomenon through the light emitted by the lamp, creating and releasing highly reactive and oxidizing species (H2O2 and OH-) which attack pollutants (germs, bacteria and virus) degrading and eliminating them. The UV lamp (wavelength 220-300 nm) radiates on a surface of Titanium Dioxide (TiO2): this synergy causes a strong ionization of the humidity contained in the air and the consequent formation of H2O2 molecules which attack micro-organisms and inactivate them, destroying their DNA and breaking down other harmful molecules.

The light emitted by the lamp can generate the phenomenon of photo-catalysis, interacting with the titanium dioxide catalyser (TiO2).

The Cold Plasma Generator is an ioniser filter designed for the purification of indoor environments by inactivating the viruses and bacteria in the air. It has an air purification mechanism that decomposes, by means of electrical discharges, some water molecules present in the environment in the form of humidity. The result is the creation of a stream of hydrogen and oxygen ions conveyed by the air flow to break down the pathogens.
Several ranges of fan coils and air conditioners, in multiple installation versions, include the Cold Plasma Generator device. Also available as an accessory for retrofitting already installed compatible fan coils.
