Aermec with Airlan at the international ORC WORLD TRIESTE 2017 regatta

From 30th June to 8th July, Porto San Rocco – Muggia (Trieste) will be the setting for the international ORC WORLD TRIESTE 2017 regatta, involving boats from 19 countries.

Taking part in Class C of the competition is the Vell Mari V (an X37) skippered by Teodoro Matheu, sponsored by AERMEC – leader in the air conditioning sector – and its subsidiary AIRLAN (its distributor throughout Spain).

Porto San Rocco is a modern marina, located in Muggia, just 12km from the centre of Trieste and a few miles from Slovenia and Croatia.

This year’s event is characterised by an extremely high number of registered boats; in fact, Classes B and C have both gone over their upper limit of 55, so there’s a waiting list of those ready to take the place of any that may have to drop out at the last minute.

In the waters off Muggia, over 1500 athletes will be taking up the challenge on the 130 boats registered to take part in the regattas.
