ONCE AGAIN, AERMEC RANKED NO. 1 IN THE UK

For the second year in a row, Aermec UK Ltd placed first for the RAC Cooling Industry Award 2018 and the prize was conferred on 26 September in London.

The Company won the award for its product innovation in the “Air conditioning innovation – Chillers and controls” category, and 2019 is starting off just as well with the designation of another prestigious trophy:
the “National ACR & Heat pumps Awards 2019” in the “Data Center, roof-top and chiller installation” category.

The Award’s mission is: “The ACR News Awards celebrates achievements across the air conditioning & refrigeration industry, recognising exceptional products, extraordinary companies and remarkable individuals”.

This Award makes us doubly proud because in addition to recognising the exceptional performance of Aermec machinery, it also awards the winning combination of machinery and systems in a concrete installation.

The system that earned Aermec UK this recognition involves the replacement of chillers for the Global Data Centre of a major multinational financial company. The purpose of the intervention was to save energy, reduce CO2 emissions in the environment and lower operating costs. The first months of operation have already registered optimum results: more than UK£ 50,000 (a savings of over 1 million kWh) have been saved each month when compared to the machines that were replaced. The AERMEC machines installed are part of the NSM series of free cooling units offering a total installed power of more than 8 MW.

Once again, Aermec’s ongoing investment in Research & Development has been rewarded, just like the teamwork, professionalism and sense of belonging that makes each and every employee stand above the crowd.
The official award ceremony will be held on 21 March at the Tower Hotel in London.
