The Bangladesh satellite station is cooled by Aermec

Aermec has been given the honour to actively participate in a project with an international scope: with its Close Control machines from the “P” series (version) PWU keeps the temperature and relative humidity values within range in the control rooms of the Bangabandhu-1 satellite ground station, Bangladesh’s first geostationary satellite.

Bangabandhu-1 represents an important milestone for Bangladesh in the field of telecommunications: the satellite makes it possible to boost the strength of radio-television broadcasts within a range of more than 6000 km, reaching Russia to the north and Australia to the south.

The Bangabandhu-1 satellite uses two ground control stations: the Spectra Primary Ground station in Gazipur, Dhaka and the Secondary Ground Station in Betbunia, Rangamati. These stations are of fundamental importance as they make it possible to receive and retransmit the entrusted information to the satellite.

For this reason, it is very important for the equipment they contain to be reliable, and it is of vital importance that the equipment is kept within a fixed temperature range of 21 ± 3°C and at a relative humidity of 50%.

With great satisfaction, Aermec was selected for this exceptional technological milestone in a country like Bangladesh, which every year is increasingly satisfied with Aermec and its products.
