Testing Room C7
The company’s test chamber is one of the largest in Europe.
Inaugurated in 2015, Aermec’s Testing Room C7 is one of the largest test chambers in Europe for plant machinery.
This state-of-the-art facility enables units with a power of up to 2 MW to be tested, allowing extremely rigorous checks and the development of tailor-made projects. The laboratory is also accredited to perform the tests necessary to obtain Eurovent and AHRI international certifications.
Witness tests.
Modern infrastructures need optimised HVAC solutions that fully integrate with their complexity.
To this end, Aermec offers specific, customised designs that can meet these particular requirements. The witness tests represent a further guarantee provided by Aermec, enabling users to check that all project requirements are consistently met before installation. The witness tests carried out at Aermec plants allow the following processes to be implemented and validated:

Execution of the tests on the basis of the design conditions and any other specific conditions requested by the customer.

Operation of the unit under full and partial load conditions, mapping of performance and energy consumption.

Simulation of operation under extreme conditions, including extremely low or high temperatures.

Performance of specific sound emission tests.

Guarantee of compliance with the expected performance and acoustic levels.

Provision of a complete set of calibration certificates relating to the instruments used for testing.
Aermec testing on high power units.
The witness tests are carried out in the largest test chamber in Europe, with the capacity to validate single units up to 2 MW at full load. This structure guarantees extremely precise tests in accordance with international regulations, with thermal ranges from -20°C to +55°C for chillers, heat pumps and air handling units.
Data validation.
Through a dedicated room, customers monitor the data in real time and receive an official report certifying the performance or project data.
During the witness tests, the customer has the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the construction and operating characteristics of their chosen unit.
