In today's air-conditioning landscape increasingly oriented towards environmental sustainability, Aermec presents its latest innovation: the PRM modular reversible heat pump with the natural refrigerant R290.
This series not only promises high performance but does so while meeting strict environmental standards through the safe use of R290 (propane) refrigerant.

THE PROPANE

PRM uses the natural refrigerant R290. With a GWP of only 3, propane represents a promising solution in sustainable refrigeration, aligning perfectly with current environmental regulations and offering high energy efficiency. The optimisation of the cooling circuit allows the refrigerant charge to be significantly reduced (only 3.8 kg/circuit) to the benefit of safety.

EFFICIENCY

With its high efficiency under all operating conditions and particularly wide operating limits, PRM is the perfect solution to actively help reduce the use of energy from fossil fuels. Its ability to produce water at high temperatures - up to 75°C - makes it a viable alternative to fossil fuel heat generators.

Its modular configuration allows easy interconnection of modules (up to 9 units), which is also possible over time:
the system is safer and more reliable. The system architecture with 4 scroll compressors on two circuits provides greater guarantees of continuity of operation.

Careful design and the selection of high-quality components guarantee both highly efficient and silent functioning. The “Noise demand limit” and “Night Mode” functions make PRM even quieter, especially at night.

Optimal energy efficiency

The use of the electronic expansion valve and the design with two compressors in tandem configuration on each individual circuit ensure maximum efficiency even at partial loads. The condensation check device, fitted as standard, allows correct functioning even at low temperatures.
